The Nippa G-Series Gas Sauna Stoves are configured to operate on either Natural Gas (NG) or Propane (LP) at BTU Outputs that include 60,000 BTU, 75,000 BTU or 90,000 BTU and include manual wall controls.  Whether you are heating a home sauna or a commercial sauna, the G-Series line of gas sauna heaters offers the same quality heat wood sauna stove are knows for, consistent performance without having to manage wood, and most importantly the same ease of use by simply flicking a switch like those offered in electric saunas. Nippa’s G-Series includes the G-60, G-75 and G-90 models.

Performance Note: Recommended sauna volumes assume a properly built sauna. If your room includes substantial glass, tile, air leakage, or weaker insulation, upsizing may be necessary. The G-Series Stoves come with a thru wall extension that is 12"L x 14"W x 24"H from the factory designed to fit through a non combustible wall.

Installation Notes: 

Your Nippa G-Series LP or Natural Gas Sauna Stove must be installed according to local codes and Nippa Installation and Operating Guide For LP or Natural Gas Sauna Stoves.

Important installation notes from the manual include:

  • Install with strict conformance to required clearances
  • Use noncombustible wall and floor construction
  • Add a protective guard or fence around the stove
  • 4" stove pipe with draft diverter with min 40" of clearance to the ceiling.
  • Connect the stove pipe by sliding it over the outside of the flue. This helps avoid löyly water from getting into the stove.

Professional Installation: These are gas appliances, installation should be completed in accordance with local code by a qualified installer.

How do I choose between G-60, G-75, and G-90?

 Choose based on sauna volume: 750 cu ft (G-60), 1200 cu ft (G-75), 2000 cu ft (G-90). If your sauna has lots of glass/tile or weak insulation, consider upsizing.

Where are the gas stove controls located?

The Nippa G-Series gas sauna heater is designed so the gas and temperature controls are located and operated from outside the sauna room
